We host Erasmus+ trainees at our Riga headquarters every year. We complete the Learning Agreement with your university, help you arrange a room before you fly, and send you a welcome pack so you arrive already knowing the city, the transport and the team you are joining.
IN SHORT
DIGI MEDIA hosts Erasmus+ traineeships at its headquarters in Riga, Latvia. Placements run from 2 to 12 months across business, marketing, creative and technology teams inside a European media and localization company working in 48 languages.
We sign the Learning Agreement for Traineeships with the student and their home university, help arrange accommodation in Riga, assign a named mentor, and issue a Traineeship Certificate and a recommendation letter on completion. Every accepted intern receives a welcome presentation before arrival covering Latvia, getting around Riga, accommodation and the team they will be working with.

We have cooperation agreements with accommodation providers in Riga and help you arrange a room before you arrive — so you are not searching for housing from another country, in a language you do not read.
We complete the Learning Agreement for Traineeships with you and your university, and send signed documents back on time. Your coordinator is dealing with a company that has done this many times before.
Every accepted intern receives a presentation covering Latvia, getting around Riga, transport tickets, accommodation and everyday practicalities. You arrive knowing how the tram ticket works.
The welcome pack introduces the people you will actually work with, so your first morning is not a room full of strangers and a laptop nobody set up.
One experienced specialist is responsible for your work and your questions, with regular feedback — not a rota, and not whoever happens to be free.
A Traineeship Certificate on completion, a recommendation letter, and your Learning Agreement signed off so your university can recognise the placement.

ABOUT ERASMUS+
The rules, in one table
An Erasmus+ traineeship is a work placement in another programme country, funded and recognised through your university. These are the current terms.

| Who can apply | Enrolled students at any study cycle, and recent graduates |
| Recent graduates | Must be selected by your university during your final year, and complete the traineeship within one year of graduating |

HOW TO ARRANGE IT

Talk to your Erasmus+ office first
Ask whether you are eligible, what deadline applies to you, what grant you would receive for Latvia, whether the placement can carry ECTS credits, which insurance is required, and whether you can take part after graduating. Procedures differ between universities, so this comes before everything else.

Decide what you want to learn
Pick two or three areas from the table above. A clear starting direction is enough — you do not need a finished career plan.

Send us a short application
A one-page CV, a few lines on what you want to learn and what you can contribute, your preferred dates and how many months you can commit, and your working languages. Tell us you plan to use Erasmus+ funding.

A conversation about your interests, skills and availability, and an honest description of what you would actually be working on. If it fits, we confirm the placement.

We complete the Learning Agreement with you and your university, help you arrange accommodation, and send your welcome pack before you travel.
