COURSE PROGRAMME

What's inside the course?

1. Introduction to sound design and audio project setup — 2 h

Role of sound in animation; DAW interface; video/audio import; track organization; dialogue bus; send and receive logic.

Cut, move, copy and delete audio; fades and crossfades; synchronization with video; SFX, Foley and ambience libraries.

Ambience beds; footsteps by surface and rhythm; Foley principle; whoosh, impact, boom, riser, stinger and magic effects.

Studio safety; microphone distance and pop-filter use; breath, diction and articulation warm-ups; multiple voice takes.

Foley planning; one-take Foley recording; simple voice effect chains; EQ, pitch, saturation, chorus, compression and reverb.

Integration of all audio layers; individual consultation; synchronization fixes; volume balancing.

Presentation of finished work; listening session; feedback and assessment.

WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH

A short animation — with a sound world you built.

The course ends with a final presentation of a completed short animation fragment with voice, ambience, Foley and designed effects — reviewed in a listening session with individual feedback.
