WEBSITE CONTENT LOCALIZATION

Website content localization that ranks in every market you enter

Translating a website is not the same as making it work in another market. We localize the page copy, navigation, metadata and structured data together — so the site reads naturally to a person, and is found by search engines and AI answer engines in each language. Across 48 languages and 63 regional versions.

48 languages · Native linguists · SEO metadata included · Schema and structured data localized

OVERVIEW

A translated website and a localized website are not the same thing

Most website translation stops at the visible text. The page reads correctly, and then it sits invisible — because the page title, meta description, headings, image alt text, URL slugs and structured data were never touched. Search engines index the original language signals while the visitor reads a different one.

We localize the whole page, not just the paragraphs. That means the copy a person reads, the metadata a search engine reads, and the structured data an AI answer engine reads are all consistent in the target language.

It also means keyword research per market rather than translated keywords. What a German buyer types is rarely the literal translation of what a British buyer types, and a page optimised for the English phrase will not rank for the German one. We research the terms in each market and write to them, keeping the meaning and tone of your original.

Every file goes to a native linguist of the target language, working to a process aligned with ISO 17100, with a second linguist reviewing. Character limits, string variables and layout constraints are respected, so nothing breaks when the German copy runs a third longer than the English.

PROCESS

From source pages to a market-ready site

01

Content and scope audit

We crawl the site, count the real word volume, and identify which pages carry traffic and which are duplicates or dead weight. You get a page list before you get a quote.

02

Market keyword research

For each target language we check how buyers actually search for what the page sells — the phrasing they use, and where it differs from the English. This happens before translation starts, not after.

03

Localization by native linguists

A native linguist of the target market translates and adapts the copy, working to your glossary and to the keyword set, within character and layout limits.

04

Metadata, schema and QA

Titles, descriptions, alt text, slugs and structured data are localized. A second linguist reviews against the source, and automated checks catch length, formatting and placeholder errors.

05

Delivery and in-context review

Files are delivered in your CMS format — WordPress, XLIFF, JSON, CSV or direct via API. Where possible we review the pages live, in context, before launch.

WHAT WE DO

Every part of the page that decides whether it is found

01 — Page copy and navigation

Headings, body copy, menus, buttons and microcopy, adapted for tone and reading flow in the target market rather than translated line by line.

Tone-matched

02 — SEO metadata

Page titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph tags, image alt text and URL slugs — researched per market, not translated from the original.

Researched

03 — Keyword and terminology set

IFUs, labels, packaging, technical files, and clinical evaluation reports translated per EU MDR 2017/745 and IVDR 2017/746 requirements.

Yours to keep

04 — Structured data and schema

Organization, Service, FAQ and Breadcrumb markup localized so search engines and AI answer engines read the page correctly in each language.

AI-readable

05— Product and category pages

Product titles, descriptions and attribute values on your website, with terminology that stays identical across every category and every language.

At volume

06 — Legal and policy pages

Privacy, cookie and terms pages localized to local phrasing and conventions. We localize the language; your legal team confirms the requirements.

WHO WE HELP

Built for teams whose website has to work in more than one market

From SaaS products to retail catalogues to public institutions — our website localization services serve every organization whose site has to be found, not just read, in each market it enters.

SaaS & Software Companies

Marketing pages, product pages, help centres and documentation localized together, so the terminology a buyer reads matches the terminology inside the product.

E-commerce & Retail Brands

Product titles, descriptions, categories and filters at volume, with sizes, materials and attribute values consistent across every market you sell in.

Marketing Agencies

Client sites localized on agency timelines and delivered under your own brand. One supplier for every language instead of a different freelancer per market.

Manufacturers & Industrial Brands

Corporate sites, product catalogues and technical pages localized with a fixed glossary, so the same component is never called two different things.

Publishers & Media

Editorial archives and article pages localized with schema and author markup intact, so existing content keeps its structure in every language.

Public Institutions

Citizen-facing information localized for clarity and accessibility, with the documentation trail that procurement and funded projects require.

WHY US

Metadata + schema

LOCALIZED, NOT SKIPPED

Most suppliers translate the page and stop. The SEO work happens later, if it happens at all — and by then the metadata is still in English, the slugs are wrong, and the page has already been indexed badly. We do both in the same pass, because they are the same job. Across 48 languages and 63 regional versions.

DIGI MEDIA website content localization — page copy, metadata and structured data localized across 48 languages

Researched, localized, and delivered in your CMS format

A native linguist works from your source pages and the keyword set built for that market, localizing the copy, the metadata and the structured data in the same pass. Files come back in the format your site already uses — WordPress, XLIFF, JSON, CSV or straight through the API.

CREDENTIALS

Native linguists, a second review, and content that never leaves EU infrastructure

Most website translation runs through a plugin that sends your content to a third-party server — including pages you have not published yet. Ours does not. Your files stay on EU infrastructure and never pass through a public AI tool..

FAQ

Website content localization frequently asked questions

What marketing managers, e-commerce teams and agencies ask before starting a multilingual site.

Do you translate the SEO metadata as well as the page text?

Yes — and we research it rather than translate it. Page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text and URL slugs are written using the keywords buyers actually use in that market. A directly translated title rarely matches what people search for, which is the most common reason a translated page never ranks.

Usually yes. We deliver in WordPress, XLIFF, JSON, CSV or via API, and we can work inside common translation plugins and headless setups. Tell us how your site is built and we will match the format rather than asking you to change it.

We build a translation memory and a client glossary at the start of the project, and every linguist works against both. Product names, feature names and technical terms stay identical across every page and every language, and the glossary is yours to keep.

We work to the character limits you give us. German, Finnish and Polish frequently run longer than English, so headlines, buttons and navigation labels are adapted to fit rather than translated literally and left to break the layout.

Yes. Organization, Service, FAQ and Breadcrumb markup is localized alongside the visible content. Structured data is how a machine reads the page rather than guesses at it, which matters more each year as AI assistants summarise pages instead of simply linking to them.

Up to 48, with 63 regional versions. Multi-language projects run on coordinated timelines so every market launches together, with the same terminology and the same quality standard.

It depends on page count, language count and how many run in parallel. We do not quote a timeline before we have seen the site — the content audit comes first, and you get a page list with a delivery date attached before you commit to anything.
