Do I need any special software?
No. The courses use Subtitle Edit, a free professional tool — we help you set it up, and all practice materials are provided.
Can beginners join the Subtitles module?
Yes. Basic computer skills and language skills sufficient for translation or editing are enough — no previous subtitling experience is required.
Where does the training take place?
The subtitling courses in Riga run at Digi Media’s offices and studios, with remote participation options available — contact us to discuss.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Every course ends with a practical assessment and an official Digi Media Academy certificate issued under a non-formal education programme authorised by RIIMC.
