EDITORIAL CONTENT LOCALIZATION
Editorial content localization that keeps the writer's voice in every language
Editorial writing is read for its own sake. Nobody finishes an article because the grammar was correct — they finish it because the voice held. We localize long-form and editorial content with linguists who have editorial backgrounds, keeping the argument, the rhythm and the register of the original while working to your house style rather than to their own. Across 48 languages and 63 regional versions.

OVERVIEW
Voice is the part that does not translate itself
WHAT WE DO
The kinds of writing people read to the end
01 — Articles and features
News features, magazine pieces and interviews localized with the pacing and register of the original, including quotes handled as quotes rather than quietly paraphrased.
02 — Long-form and research reports
Whitepapers, industry reports and annual publications, with headings, pull quotes, footnotes and citations kept in place and formatted to the conventions of each market.
03 — Books and publishing
Manuscripts, essay collections and series titles, with names, terminology and running style consistent from the first chapter to the last.
04 — Thought leadership and bylined content
Executive columns, opinion pieces and expert commentary, written so the author's argument and authority survive the move into another language.
05— Editorial archives
Existing back catalogues localized as a set rather than piece by piece, so terminology and style stay consistent across everything already published.
PROCESS
From a style guide to a piece that reads as if it were written there
01
House style and voice brief
We start from your style guide, or build one with you if it currently lives in people's heads. Capitalisation, punctuation, citation format, how names and titles are handled, and the register the publication uses — agreed once, applied everywhere.
02
Author and terminology mapping
Recurring authors, recurring subjects and recurring terms are mapped before the work starts, and where volume allows, linguists are assigned to authors rather than to individual pieces.
03
Localization by editorial linguists
A native linguist with an editorial background rewrites the piece in the target language, keeping the argument, the structure and the pacing, and adapting references that would not land in that market.
04
Editorial review
A second linguist reads the piece as a reader first — for flow, register and whether the argument still holds — then against the source for accuracy, quotes, figures and citations.
05
Delivery in publishing format
Files come back in the format they left in: a CMS export, XML, Word with tracked changes, or an InDesign package with the layout intact and the text fitted to the space it has.

SEE IT IN ACTION
Inside a DIGI MEDIA editorial project
House style is not a preference, it is a hundred small decisions
Quotation marks, decimals, dates, page references and dash spacing all change between markets, and a piece that keeps the source conventions reads as a translation no matter how good the writing is. These are agreed once in the style brief and applied across everything, so the reader never notices the language it came from.
